FeedBeast
Superb in all ways.
Pros: From the download and installation to the daily ongoing operation, FeedBeast is overly simple to operate. There are easy to follow yet interesting tutorials. The program is loaded with features that I have not found in other RSS Readers including the ability to read articles from web sites that do not have RSS feeds.
There is also a wide latitude of options which are easy to set.
I had one problem: I could not figure out how to unlock the program after paying the $5 life use registration. I had a friendly answer immediately which resolved the problem within minutes.
Finally, I am already excited about the new version 1.6 which is currently in Beta. I love the current main screen but am already excited by the new screen in 1.6 which looks even easier and better.
A number of years ago and for several years I was a 'software junkie' and was lucky enough to find the awesome 'ClipMate' program in its first release. This is the second program of that quality that I have seen coming onto the market. I can hardly wait to start using the Beta version.
FeedBeast
I've died and gone to heaven
Pros: I've finally found an RSS Reader that has a clean interface, is reliable, inexpensive (under $10 during this past holiday season), and does everything I need it to do!
Cons: At first it did not work on Vista, but now no problems on Vista. The author is very quick with bug fixes and will fix any problems.
FeedBeast
The best RSS reader and news aggregator ever!
Pros: I have enjoyed using this software and it is quite impressive jump from v1.0 to v1.5! Lots of nice features.
I am recommending this for die-hard RSS users!
Cons: There's very few cons, have been in contact with a developer and he said he is working on it for the next releases. It is very positive talk with developer. Unlike other software companies, Logan Murray, who develops this software, is a very good listener and been very quick on fixing the bugs.
FeedBeast
Very hard to figure out. Did not see my Network Drives
Cons: Could not easily import my current RSS Sites. Program seems very close ended. Programmers spent too much time on making it look good, and not enough time on making it easy to use.
