Editor's review of FastFolder

4 star editors rating This wee application offers quick access to frequently-used folders from an icon in the system tray, although it's missing the hot-key support found in comparable programs. FastFolder's utilitarian interface is easily accessed via its system-tray icon and makes specific folders accessible with one or two clicks. Adding a shortcut for your favorite folder is a snap: just browse the target folder directly from the program's tree view list, specify a name, and set the folder path. As a result, you can bypass Windows Explorer and quickly access them from the tray icon. The right-click menu also gives you access to common Windows' system folders and drives. However, even quicker access would be possible if the program supported hot-key shortcuts, but considering FastFolders's freeware status, we can easily forgive this minor oversight. This time-saving app can be used by any user looking for a way to manage and access favorite folders.
