This screensaver brings the spectacular colors of a Rocky Mountain fall to your desktop no matter what time of year it is. The program provides around 15 autumn images that showcase the famous ski town of Vail, Colorado, and its surrounding scenery. Images are sharp, crisp, and vibrantly colored, although we never got the audio option to work even when we left the correct box unchecked. Still, we do appreciate the ability to choose from many styles of transition effects and adjust their speed to suit our tastes. Fall Vail Volume 1 also lets you set the delay between images and determine in what order they appear. If this screensaver has a major downside, it's the 10-day trial period, which is a bit too short in our book. But any nature lover who appreciates autumn foliage and scenery should at least take this screensaver under consideration.
