It doesn't offer much in the way of an interface, but this free Firefox extension helps Facebook users by allowing the quick download of photo albums.
Blink and you might miss Facebook Photo Album Downloader. The user interface involves a link on your right-click menu. Once we signed into our Facebook account, we visited our photo album, right-clicked, and selected the Download Photo Album option. The photo album quickly downloaded to our selected location. Other than choosing where you want to download the photo album, there aren't any other options available. There isn't a Help menu, but the program is very easy to use.
Facebook Photo Album Downloader works well and is suitable for any user.

"Lets you download whole albums off Facebook - but doesnt always work"
Pros: Quickest way to download whole album of photos
Cons: Sometimes doesnt work - doesnt give any error message.
Pops up a window where to save each individual photo, rather than silently downloading all to same specified directory.
