Publisher's description of FIFA Soccer 08 demo
FIFA Soccer 08 is the next release in the long-running simulation series from EA Sports. Most of the features of FIFA 07 return in FIFA 08, with a host of new features that aim to liven up the gameplay.
FIFA 08 introduces a new engine--called the 35-point decision engine--that enables players to react to situations and make realistic decisons. Other new features include improved shooting, where a variety of factors now affect the ball after it is struck, including ball spin, pressure from defenders, player attributes, and even air resistance and pressure. FIFA 08 also introduces a new feature called "Be-A-Pro" that will allow player to control individual players for entire matches.
This demo lets you play as seven teams: AC Milan, America (Mexico), Bayern Munchen, FC Barcelona, Manchester United, Marseille, and the NY Red Bulls.

"It was OK, but one massive problem."
Pros: Commentry is as good as ever, nothing much else to say really...
Cons: I have a Radeon 9550 card and for some reason the textures on players were corrupted, it was really weird and the only way to describe it is like 'large lines coming out the players body in all directions'. The other textures work fine but they look a bit dated (WHY DO WE PC GAMERS ALWAYS HAVE A PORTED PS2 VERSION!)

Version: FIFA Soccer 08 demo
Pros: 1. Improved graphics
2. Improved Commentary e.g "That's where you put a postage stamp - top corner" - Andy Gray
3. Winter-mode pretty realistic
4. Better gameplay
5. Better overall realistic effect
6. Commentators using players' names e.g : "Cross coming in from Ronaldo", "Wonderful save by Dida", "....and Wayne Rooney scores!" (For the first time goalkeepers' names directly used)
Cons: 1. Loads of bugs in the commentary
e.g. Ball is sailing way over the goal, commentator saying "Wonderful save"
2. Upto now, noticed just one bug in refereeing: Sometimes unnecessary booking even when the foul happened almost a minute ago or ball has gone out of play yet booking etc.
3. Don't quite like the new button configuration - Q for Switch Player and S ONLY for passing (my personal feeling, this may differ from person to person. Others however are generalized)

Pros: The ball movement and reaction of the players are very realistic. Someone mentioned they don't react, well thats your job as the player, move to it. Love the new through shot directions, now i can achieve the plays lacked in 07. Can't wait for the real deal, but i am getting it for xbox 360.
Cons: graphics sucks for PC of course, but then again i need to play it extending to another display device to see if its any better.
