Eyeball Chat

ALERT!!! Adware

Cons: I previously used this program with no problem. Recently I had to reformat my computer and now after reinstalling eyeball I get popups. They only popup when eyeball is running. They are ads telling me my computer performance is low or my registry is corrupt and I need to install the programs they advertise. Some try to install by themselves. The company on the ads is: SellMoSoft Inc., the programs are PerformanceOptimizer, Cleanitnow.net, registrycleanerxp.com

Eyeball Chat

The option to use multiple other chat programs is greyed out, doesnt work.

Pros: Very simple to use and decent framerates, good picture and the option to easily send video messages in .avi format is nice.

Cons: The incorporation to use Yahoo, MSN, AIM is greyed out in the settings menu in XP and ME. Have uninstalled and reinstalled to no avail.Whats up with that?......Needs a patch

Eyeball Chat

works good but has flaws

Pros: I like that I can talk to my family

Cons: I dont like that I can only chat on eyeball for about 5 min then it kicks me off

Malware/Adware/Virus Hosting/

Pros: It would be O.K.ish if it were not for all the problems it creates. not for inexperienced users.

Cons: Very Buggy,Unreliable,Dangerous, as users are able to send virus in the form of Exc Files,recently has pop up windows which are persistant in attempting to bluff users into downloading expensive software.

Cuts off after very short periods of non activity, allows bots in its rooms which take control of your connections. Best Avoided unless you really know what you doing.
