Pros: Thats correct, 5.78 MB compressed. If you have interest in this package of wallpapers, download them from Softpedia. No corrupt file there & their available in both full & wide screen wallpapers. Since I have Vista ultimate & was looking for some new wallpapers I just stumbled on them there & their pretty nice.

Cons: To bad really, whats happing all to often here at what was once my favorite download site. Not only are there to many corrupt files, way to many are remain outdated far to long. as much as I hate to admit it, I now look at Softpedis first for all my downloads.

"Not Corrupt - Read this"

Pros: Once you accually get to the wallpapers, they are pretty good.

Cons: I have seen this happen with other downloads on CNET before. Even though it says it is a ZIP file, it really isn't. Rename the file so it has a .htm extension. Then, open it up with explorer, and it will take you to another site to download the wallpapers. If you don't believe me, open the file up in notepad. You will probably be suprised when you find out that it is written in HTML.

"Corrupt File"

Pros: What software?

Cons: I downloaded VistaUltimatev2.zip fine but it was a corrupt zip file. Same result after several attempts. I think at 227 bytes it's bound to be. I just hope it wasn't a virus. I didn't notice the file size till trying to open it. Really hope it was just a zip folder with nothing in it. i don't get why CNet would post a file as being just 227 bytes. There's nothing that would ever be that small cept maybe a driver , a malicious code or a VIRUS. Hope it was an oversight by both the developer and CNet. The developer's site at wstaylor.net seems alright. In fact it has those wallpapers and icons i wanted right there.
