Pleasantly surprised

I don't know why I wasn't expecting much from this product, but it was about the fourth one I had tried. I had an issue with a particularly stubborn Yahoo utility of all things and NOTHING except this product gave me a clue as to how I could deal with it. Finally, it showed me a number of "phantom" installs that it allowed me to delete. It didn't remove the item but as I say, unlike the others it did provide an idea as to how to get rid of the problem. I used this product to delete the phantom installation and then cleaned out the registry for references to the utility as well as remaining files and folders. While one wouldn't expect to have to do this with an uninstaller... the other uninstallers didn't even give me an understanding as to why there was a problem. This product bundles with a few other tools such as a Privacy Guardian which allows you to delete extraneous pages from most browsers (IE, Mozilla/Netscape, Opera to begin with) and windows itself. Something for newbies that can't figure out how to stop those annoying utilities from starting up is the Startup manager... I love that thing because often these utilities just plant themselves and don't give you any preference settings. There is also a Task Manager, but let's face it... this comes with Windows anyway... so what is the point of this. In any case... I find this to be a great little tool.. and the price is pretty good as well.

The best of its kind i've ever seen

I'm very pleased with this program. It's easy to use. I don't need to be an expert, to use this software. And most of all, it's much more than a simple uninstall manager. The other features incorporated in the program make it for me indispensable in everyday's work. PS: Also in detecting broken uninstalls it seems to work better than any other programs of this kind i've ever tried.

Good for the basics

The program got rid of those annoying half uninstalls. When it comes to securing your computer from internet attacks it has no more options than Windows already has. It would help if the program identified the potential problems.

not a bad installer

Pros: fairly easy to use. the phantom uninstall is useful something other programs don't even offer. If you like messing with current tasks running and program start up this interface is faster to use than msconfig and task manager in windows

Cons: doesn't give you much detail of what it is doing. can't change size of screen and it didn't totally uninstall a couple tough programs I have but the simpler ones it worked on.
