ColorPearl allows you to change the color of the trackball on your BlackBerry Pearl. The ONLY BlackBerry that this will work on is the Pearl/8100! It is the only device with the colored LEDs behind the trackball. There will not be a version for the 8800, Curve/8300, Pearl 2/8120/8130. To enable/disable and set the color, go to Options->ColorPearl. This version is the first release on CNET Download.com.

"Very simple and user friendly."

Pros: It's really easy to install and use, and not only can you choose from a list of pre-designated colors, but you can also enter hex codes (ex. FFFFFF [white], 000000 [black], etc..) to use any color you want.

Cons: It's only available on the Pearl8100, and although you can enter the hex for any color you want, it may not come out the shade you'd like because of the limits of the LED lights.

Summary: Great simple software, I'd def recommend it for anyone who just wants to change their "Pearl" color.
