From DBAny: DBAny allows a user to have ONE DataBase(DB) Client for several of the DBs available today (Oracle, Sybase, DB2, MySQL, MSAccess, etc). One program instead of having an expensive DB client program for each DB. With DBAny, you can easily inquire, update, insert, and delete DB data and you can see what DB Tables are available in the DB (via a 'Tables' DropDown List). Additionally, you can see what Columns are associated to a specific DB Table (via a 'Columns' DropDown List). DBAny is a valuable tool for software developers since they can quickly access DB data for testing and verifying their application. It is also a tool that can be used by a variety of users who need to house their data in a DB. They can use the 'AutoInsert' function of DBAny to make the process of inserting DB data much more efficient. This feature 'remembers' columns that can be entered automatically (ie: City, State, etc). It also allows automatic entry for dates (ie: today's date).- See more CNET content tagged:
