From Privacyware: Dynamic Security Agent is a Free desktop defense product that delivers signature-less, zero-hour protection from known or new malware and intrusions for Windows desktops and servers. DSA continuously evaluates system processes, applications, WinAPI calls, registry and other system variables to detect, quarantine and/or block potential threats. DSA incorporates anomaly detection components that baseline normal computer operation and detect unacceptable deviations from typical use. Version 2 adds Windows Vista support.

Dynamic Security Agent

Has the power to protect your system

Pros: Found stuff I didn't know I still had on the HDD. Could application security features. Just won't anything get by or start or launch or install or delete. Not bad. I use it with the Freeware PC Tools Personal Firewall Plus. Seems very stable together.

Cons: Might have too many popups messages I set the training to 14 over 40. Seems to work better than way than out of the box mode.

Dynamic Security Agent

Not ready for primetime!

Pros: After installing Dynamic Security Agent I felt as if I'd been transported back in time to the early days of Windows, as my computer kept freezing up a few moments after rebooting when the program's process window appeared asking to allow or block programs.
Frustratingly, clicking on either "allow" or "block" seemed to have little effect as the "allow or block" window appeared to be unresponsive to the mouse pointer. Somehow I was finally able to get into Control Panel to uninstall the application (it *doesn't* come with its own uninstaller). What a relief!
From what I could tell the program performs similar functions as many firewalls. It may be a worthwhile program IN THE FUTURE but in my opinion at this time (Feb. 2008) it's definitely NOT ready for primetime and bugs/conflicts need to be worked out!

Pros: Good secure protection, easy to use, Good results in firewall leak testing.
Way to Go!!!

Could Potentially Restrict Normal Computer Functions

Pros: I liked this software because it was simple to use, fairly small in resource consumption, and it was free!

Cons: While I did set it to 'ask me whether to allow each and every computer process', when it prompted me, at times, the program was already running before I could tell it to allow it. It also did not tell me whether I wanted to allow critical systems individually and sometimes assumed to block it. Because of this, it restricted my internet access constantly and denied me the connection.
