From Supertruckersites.com: DBLP is an application that will let you switch applications, with the ease of your devices hard buttons, without exiting the current application. After installing DBLP, you can map up to 20 applications on your Palm, memory card, or DAs (Desk Accessories) to each of the four hard buttons (datebook, contacts, tasks, notepad). In Scroll Mode, Holding a hard button down will loop through each of the applications assigned to that button. When you release the button, the selected application or DA will launch. In Non scroll Mode, the DBLP launcher pops up and waits for you to select an application from the list, and can optionally automatically launch an application after a specified delay with no keypresses. We can take the "duh" of the Duh Button Launcher Plus two ways--as a no-brainer freebie that lets you map favorite apps to one of four hard keys, a shortcut for switching programs, or as a reflection of wonky software that detects different eligible hard keys for different Palm handsets. On one test device, DBLP ensnared the Phone and Power keys, rendering their original function useless. While it's easy enough to fix by manually excluding those buttons, it wastes some time in trial and error and shrinks the app's usefulness. Duh Button Launcher Plus also exhibited shakiness in another round of testing, but after a few crashes and some tweaking, it straightened out once more. Duh, indeed.
