Driver Magician Lite lets you easily back up all of your computer's drivers.

Pros

Most of the work is done for you: All of your drivers are listed as soon as you open the software. The software even highlights those that aren't included in Microsoft Windows, and advises you that these are the ones that should be backed up. Checkboxes let you choose the drivers you want to back up, or you can Choose All to back up every driver in the list. After that, you just need to indicate where the drivers should be saved.

Cons

Really lite: Driver Magician Lite does one thing and one thing only. If you want to update or otherwise manage your drivers, you'll need to upgrade.

Bottom Line

Consider the cost (in time or money) if something goes wrong with your computer, and you need those drivers and don't have them. Stack that up against the fact that Driver Magician Lite will save them for you for free, and it's an easy sell, whether you upgrade or not.

Developer's Description

Driver Magician Lite identifies all the hardware in the system, extracts their associated drivers from the hard disk, and backs them up to a location of your choice. Then when you format and reinstall or upgrade your operating system, you can restore all the saved drivers just as if you had the original driver diskettes in your hands.
