This Palm productivity suite will hold a lot of appeal for busy workers who need to keep chugging along even when they're not in the office. The installation package lets you decide which components of the program you'd like to install and whether you want to also install Inbox To Go, which will sync your Palm with Outlook and download your e-mails. If you opt for the whole shebang, Documents To Go Premium will consume nearly 30MB of system memory, one of the few negatives we noticed. When the program's control panel launches, it will propose to sync recently accessed documents, though you can easily add or remove any files you'd like. Syncing times generally seemed fast but will of course take longer if you're adding a huge amount of e-mail.
Once Documents To Go is on your Palm, files you've imported--including images, PowerPoint presentations, Word documents, and Excel spreadsheets--are accessible from a treelike structure. Sending items back to your computer is a simple matter of pressing the stylus in the right place and resyncing. Although it supports Microsoft Office documents, the application also comes with its own proprietary text and spreadsheet apps, both of which feature intuitive toolbars with basic editing implements across the bottom of the screen. You can even beam any file to a compatible wireless handheld, ideal for collaborating on the go. In the end, Documents To Go will be right at home on any Palm that's primarily used for work purposes.

Version: Documents To Go Premium Edition 8
"Own a PDA and need to edit files? You'll need this..."
Pros: If you own a PDA and you need to edit office documents on the go, then this is the program you will need. Fairly easy install and easy to use. The program has not crashed my computer or my PDA yet. The download gives u a good 30days to try it out.
Cons: Nothing to complain about the download itself. The file is about 30mb, and that is not too bad for such a program. However, $50 is kind of high for a full version. I guess if you really need what this program offers, it might be worth the $50.

Version: Documents To Go Premium Edition 8
Pros: Does what is says, fairly stable for the fairly unstable palm os environment (in my experience)
Cons: Very expensive, do you need to edit word docs on a tiny screen with a stylus?

Version: Documents To Go Premium Edition 8
"I have thouroughly enjoyed the trial version of this product"
Pros: It is easy to use. You can carry all your work with you. I leave most of the more difficult excel spread sheet functions for the lap top, but editing docs, reviewing presentations, makes this product completely worth the time.
Cons: Hard to find any in my case, but I am sure if you look you will find. Product support can be a bit unfriendly and costly from what I have heard.
