Version: Disc Master 2.5
"[excellent for my 1st beginner-level use] & [tips on registering]"
Pros: 1) Seems to have worked perfectly in copying a bootable CD (cd to *.cdi image on hard-drive to blank cd).
2) I run a very tight ship on my machine (in terms of what I allow on it) and had no problems other than a registration hiccup (see my third item). {side-details: ALL software fully-patched, XP Home, zonealarm firewall active, Symantec Antivirus 9.0 autoprotect, Spybot SD Resident (in general), non-Microsoft _default_ web browser & email client, security level for Internet Explorer's Internet Web content zone set to "High" in general. When I ran XP's "Event Viewer" following installation of Disc Master, there were no new unexpected errors/warnings.}
3) "Simple" solution to registration difficulties: At least while you are registering, set your security level on Internet Explorer's "Internet Properties" to "Default Level", regardless of what is your default browser. This allows the launched registration webpage (Internet Explorer) to tell Disc Master (behind-the-scenes) that registration has been successful. Disc Manager will then perform as advertised.
Cons: No cons (yet)--see item 3 on "pros."

Version: Disc Master 2.5
"Very good burning application"
Pros: I have had no problems using this software after registering it (no nags, no problems starting or using the program) - at least yet.
It does very fine the basic burning things: audio CD (also with overburning), bootable data disc, normal multisession disc etc. I'd like to say that this is perhaps the best piece of burning software you can get free.
Cons: The only con I have found is that when making audio CD and dragging a group of mp3 files into compilation Disc Master often changes the order of songs. So you have to manually re order them if you want them to be in certain order. Anyway, this is very little issue after all.

"Hi,

Version: Disc Master 2.5
"Big Hassle would be worth it IF IT WORKED, IT DOESN'T"
Cons: Download 12meg, download Direct X 9, register product. Now it "will not open until you register". Tried 3 times, deleted. Junk

Version: Disc Master 2.5
Cons: Couldn't get past the registration. Tried everything mentioned here. Don't bother.
