Hands off, Mom and Dad. This digital diary is a simplified version of an online journal, with an interface that even the most beginning computer users will be able to figure out. Geared for kids (although it's unclear what the age range is), the diary includes a calendar for easy browsing among entries. It's stable and secure, as all entries are password-protected. While we understand the need for simplicity with younger users, most kids are far more computer savvy than they're given credit. Diary 3000 could be a much cooler program had it included options for music, pictures, or other attachments. Overall, a good beginning journal program for computer newbies.
