It's different from most calendar programs as it doesn't clutter up your taskbar or system tray. You can enter important dates like dentist appointments, birthdays or deadlines. Then when you turn your computer on, or that day rolls over you will be alerted of any events. Desktop Calendar also handles your computer's wallpaper, displaying a different picture each month. Or if you prefer you can turn this feature off and use your own wallpaper. The program comes with a default Wallpaper Pack but more can be download, or you can make your own."
