Only for the novice hunter
Pros: this software would be good for a very new person to hunting. they would out grow this software in about a months time (or at least they should).
Cons: the software is very user unfriendly as someone else said they couldn't figure out how to open it. it's very poorly organized and isn't very astheticaly pleasing. Besides the software being hard to use and ugly my biggest complaint is that the results they give are most of the time useless and in many cases just plain wrong.

pretty neat
I'm only learning about deer hunting, and plan to begin within the next year. I thought the "consultant" feature of this program was pretty neat- I've been reading a book on blacktail hunting and the info here seems pretty accurate. Its a simple program, and probably useless to very experienced hunters, but its worth looking at and could be a useful tool. The "100 possible scenarios" are things like: 1-2 hunters, hunting in early morning, hilly terrain, light wind, light rain, mid-season (that would be one scenario).. Of course then it tells me to stand hunt, although I'd probably just go still hunt anyway dangit.
