It is an AV converter, editor, capturer, ripper, and recorder. Make conversion among CD, MP3, WAV, OGG, WMA, VCD (dat), MPG, MPEG, DVD (vob), AVI, DivX, XVID, RM, and RMVB. It is also good at splitting and merging AV files. It can help you cut or split your favorite part or backup whole MPEG/DAT/VOB/MP3/OGG/AVI/RM/RMVB/DIVX/VCD/SVCD/DVD to hard disc, and merge them again if you will. It is your DV camcorder capturer either extract and convert straight stream from DV camcorder to MPEG1/2 video.

It is still a perfect duplicator, which can backup your DVD perfectly, even can duplicate the 9GB DVD movie to a 4.7G blank DVD-R/DVD+R. It is a perfect recorder as well, which can record online radio, CD music, music played by Media Player, RealPlayer, Winamp, video sound, game sound, meetings, and chats over microphone. Storing configuration dialog position, showing motion vectors - just first draft. Version 5.37 fixes crash wich IffProc and OSD combination, presets are initialized in TffDecoder constructor again.

"This software wouldn't load."

Pros: N/A -- I couldn't get the program to load.

Cons: It simply wouldn't load. After installation I opened up the program to find a typical nag screen advising that the program was SHAREWARE and that I could either evaluate the software, enter the serial key or buy the serial key. When I selected to evaluate the software NOTHING HAPPENED except that the programs' active window closed on it's own. After checking the task manager, I realized that it not only closed the program but there were no active processes for this application. So it's not that the program froze up. It literally shut itself down. Real bummer.

"A disgrace, unable to even test the software due to hyperlinks and passwords !!!"

Cons: I like the look of this software, but it is impossible to test it ... once downloaded, you click on the action that you want to do and it sends you to a "purchase" internet page. There is a pop-up box that gives you 2 links, both of which take you to this same page, or there is a link to another download that you, apparently, need. However, once this zip file is downloaded, all of the files within it are password protected, and from what I can gather, they will only send you the password once you are "registered" ... and in this perverse language (trust me, it may be in English but the writer must have cut & pasted from babelfish !!!) that means bought & paid for !!!
I don't see where the 30 day trial is available !!!
Avoid this software like the plague !!!
