Portable Document Format (PDF) is the de facto standard for the secure and reliable distribution and exchange of electronic documents and forms around the world. CutePDF Writer (formerly CutePDF Printer) is the free version of commercial PDF creation software. CutePDF Writer installs itself as a printer subsystem. This enables virtually any Windows applications (must be able to print) to create professional quality PDF documents with just a push of a button.

Version 2.7 added support for both 32-bit and 64-bit Windows Vista.

  FANTASTIC!!

  Pros: Truly wonderful software! Does the job flawlessly and and quickly. I haven't tried the pro version yet, but the free-ware is probably more than the average user will need. Highly recommended!

  easy to use and free.

  Pros: just print your file and wirte a file name.

  Cons: it recquires Ghostscript as a separate download. so small file size isn't real. try doPDF instead.

  A must have!

  Pros: No need to have Adobe Acrobat if all you want to do is create pdf files with the print function. I print to pdf constantly for keeping receipts of online purchases, etc.

  This is small, simple and awesome! I wish I had found this type of program years ago!
