From WordWeb Software:Crossword Compiler will help you create, edit, and publish crosswords with its features for grid filling, clue writing, and puzzle exporting. The program has many professional features but offers ease of use for beginners. Teachers can create vocabulary puzzles in seconds, as the program will fit words into a blank grid automatically. This update includes new and improved export options. You can export interactive crosswords to a Web page using the Crossword Compiler Java applet, and create vocabulary puzzles directly from a list of words and clues, and in any shape. It also adds a powerful grid-filling system, library of grid patterns, and more export options (including HTML, BMP, GIF, TIFF, EPS, RTF, and plain text formats).
In the unregistered software, save, export, and print features are disabled for puzzles bigger than 10 by 10 squares. Some other features are disabled, as well. This update adds improved support for different languages. The shareware price is $45.
