CortexPro is a web-based collaboration service with smart, simple, user-friendly tools, usually requiring no more than one or two clicks of the mouse. It includes intuitive document management, knowledge sharing, resource planning, and reporting functionality (for example file sharing, calendars, contacts, surveying). It can be used simultaneously as an intranet or extranet. This installation file will allow you to upload files to a collaboration site or intranet directly from Microsoft Office as well as place a collaboration toolbar on your browser for faster access to collaboration tools. After the installation, follow the simple instructions to create your own site and start increasing your productivity right away.

Note: The Download Now link will download a small installer file to your desktop. Remain online and double-click the installer to proceed with the actual download (1.8MB). The trial includes 500MB of free storage space and 100 free users.

"depends on your internet speed, and they host your stuff"

Pros: Easy to use

Cons: I could never upload the number of files
I have in a resonable amount of time. I don't mind a web server, but its running on their server. Their in control, I'd rather be incontrol of my own web server.

"interesting but with less features"

Summary: ...It doesn't have real-time shareing functions, such as whiteboard. So, basically, it is like groupnews. I expected it be more than a BSCW (Basic Support for Cooperative Work).

"Lots of features but..."

Summary: Although I found the office plugin and the shell extention very useful, its a shame that not all the features are available through their desktop application. Also I expected to have more disk/storage space.

"More than I expected..."

Summary: Has a nice layout and good features. I was impressed with their document management module, which was able to generate thumbnails for all of the files I uploaded. This is very useful especially with image files.
