CopyRite makes backing up fast and easy. A simple step-by-step process guides you through selecting files and the backup location, as well as through backup scheduling. The CopyRite scheduler can run backups at any time, and you can set recurring backup schedules daily, weekly, or monthly. Double the capacity of any disk. CopyRite's ZIP-compatible compression technology lets you fit more data onto your Zip, Jaz, SyQuest, and floppy drives, as well as onto most removable media. CopyRite's synchronizer automatically compares files or folders on your computer against your backup files, ensuring that both locations have the most recent files.

This program does a good job of backing up all the information on your hard drive. After a quick installation, CopyRite offers you a choice between opening the software and associating ZIP-archived files with its ZIP Explorer. You can switch between the backup utility and the ZIP Explorer with a shortcut button. Although the button design is sloppy, the interface is otherwise well-organized. The rest of the program works well, and backup takes little time. You can configure the software to schedule a time to synchronize and check your backed-up files. The feature set makes this utility a good fit for home users.

"It works well, but beware the "email charge""

Summary: The product works. It's not amazing, but it does it's job and I use it daily.

I was surprised to see the $5 "Email charge" on my bill though. They sent me a key, that's it.... and they charged me $5 additional for it! Ticked me off, ... read more >>
