  Cool Free AVI DIVX to All Video Converter

  Worked at first...

  Pros: I converted about 25 files and burned them to DVD without trouble. Nice interface, but no bells and whistles.

  Cons: All of a sudden it stopped working. It would convert the file and then stop at the burn DVD progress screen. I uninstalled it, got a new version from the web, checked all the settings, nothing worked. Now I need another freeware converter. Any suggestions?

  Pros: it looked ok at first. but i wanted a simple free converter and this just isn't!
