Publisher's description of Conquer Online 5039
From NetDragon Websoft:In the mythical and ancient Kung Fu circle, there was an evil guild that had risen to power and dominated the once peaceful world. Living under its terror, a group of courageous men and women gathered as one to improve upon their lot. Indeed, to fight against this evil. To their purpose, they set forth to return justice back to the people. Acquire experience in this ancient adventure with all of its glorious magic. Enjoy, for yourself, the endless and the most beautiful scenery yet created in a MMOG (Massively Multi-user Online Game). Interact with others in a mythical environment in which you develop your own character.
Note: This is a very large (435MB) file and may take several hours to download via slow Internet connection.

- "Go to war, ancient hero of China"
Conquer distinguishes itself from the MMORPG pack in some old-school ways that, because of their retro feeling, make the game seem fresh--if not innovative. Instead of going for detailed 3D rendering, Conquer's anime style is more cartoony and rounded, and very well-suited to the pseudo-mystical ancient Chinese milieu in which it's set.
You can play one of several characters: Warrior, Archer, magically-inclined Taoist, or a Trojan. The anachronistically-named Trojan is the strongest character, whereas the Archer is the fastest, the Warrior the most versatile, and the Taoist the most magically inclined. Advanced Taoists, whom we mistakenly thought were meant to be the peaceful, contemplative sort, can become Water or Fire Taoists. As in other MMORPGs, when you complete quests, kill creatures, and pick up coins, you level up and become stronger.
Conquer has a more unique backstory, if only because it's not lifted from European medieval fantasy; hobbit-hunters should look elsewhere. The install file is smaller than most free MMORPGs, and the smaller footprint doesn't eat up quite as much of your system resources. Online documentation is better, too, and most newbie questions can be answered by perusing their site. All in all, Conquer is a fun game with a distinctive style, and is absolutely worth checking out.

Version: Conquer Online 5039
Pros: IT's FREE!
Tq is always adding new improvments
and new game elements.
the game is not a resourse hog.
Its easy to use, and if you read the site provided by tq you will be set.
you can creat as many free acc as you like, and run up to 2 at once.Cons: You may not like the graphics, but what do you want for a game that is free. This to me isnt a true con though, I like the way its viewed.
You do end up with more teens playing than you might other wise. (though this gives me some one else to pk!)Summary: The game is user friendly and tq makes it so easy to learn about the quests by going to their site. Only the users that refuse to read the web site have a hard time with this game and that is their own fault. I have been playing this game for over... read more >>

Version: Conquer Online 5039
"One of the best, also one of the worst."
Pros: The gameplay is decent and fairly intuitive. The addition of an in-game 'training ground' sets this game apart from nearly all others I've seen..allowing you to level while you are away.
Cons: Advancing beyond noob status requires hours and hours of level grinding, or that you PURCHASE Dragonball codes, using them to either buy your upgraded equipment or to level your character.
Summary: You CAN play for free, but the chances of you becoming great without paying somewhere along the line are slim to none. With it's action based combat (not turn-based like Runescape, for example) duels can be quite interesting and fun. Having played f... read more >>
