Version: Company of Heroes single-player demo
Pros: The combat reminds me of Brothers in Arms, except this is RTS and you control more units at once.
There's base construction which is a mix between the cliched RTS style with alot of military-esque additions.. such as building sandbag defenses, entering civillian buildings and converting them into a base of operations. And this is just the Skirmish part of the game.
The Campaign is where this game owns. Think Saving Private Ryan. You start off at the beaches of D-Day and you make your way up the heavily fortified cliffs taking out machineguns, buildings and finally ending up near the artillery. This could probably last you an hour or two. The second mission is where you defend a town which is another hour or two of great fun.
The graphics are great. The sounds are great. I can honestly say that this game is more immersifying than WWII first-person-shooters and it doesn't even have to put you "inside the action."
Cons: It's a large file and it takes a while to setup, so make sure you have enough free space on your HD before you install.
You will need a nice graphics card to get the most out of this game (Believe me it has very good graphics). But if you don't, you can still tune down the settings and enjoy it just the same.

"That's Incredible!! It's one of the best RTS games ever!"
Pros: It's a really immersive RTS. Using the Relic Essence engine and Havoc realistic physic this game is amazing!
Starting from the D-Day you command squads of infantry and tanks through the nazist lines. You have to conquer and defend strategic points (like roads and bridges),ammunition and fuel points. Each of these points extends your control zone, where you can reinforce your troops and establish your base.
Environment is real like no ever. You can take cover under a wall or a tree, but Panzers can destroy them. You can also refuge into bomb craters or besides crashed tanks the battle leaves along the game.In few words, the battlefield changes as you play and you must change your strategy to achieve mission objectives.
Each of the two parties has different and specialized units like snipers,grenadiers,anti-tanks and assault troops and many vehicles.
Scenaries are very realistic and your involvement into the battle is total!
Cons: It has very high requirements and takes long to load.
Nothing else.

Version: Company of Heroes single-player demo
Pros: For a over head view game it's pretty good lots of different tactics.graphic are great
Cons: This game has very good graphics and to enjoy that you need a good video card. I have a 5200 Nvidia I set all my setting to low but it still got a little choppy when there was alot of bombs going off. So many tactics that it's hard to remember what's what. All and all it's ok for a gamer wanting to try to games...OH yeah file is a huge download it took me like 6 hours or so on DSL so don't get in too big of a hurry to play it right off the bad.

"Close Combat meets Age of Empires"
Pros: Close Combat (Microsoft) meets Age of Empires. This is what Close Combat should have evolved to before they pulled the plug on it. Very nicely done.
Cons: Huge 1.8 gig demo. Part of the reason for that is the long in game cut-scenes, which I haven't figured out how to skip.
Would have liked a gameplay more like Close Combat than Age of Empires, where you collect resources, etc. No set battles, you have to wait for resources, build troops/armor. Would have liked set battles, where you and your opponent have given set troops and fight it out, as was in Close Combat.

Version: Company of Heroes single-player demo
Pros: Awesome graphics! Awesome sound effects!
Cons: It's only pathetic 2 levels, and the file is bloody big. But hey, what are demos for.
