Version: CoffeeCup Password Wizard 5
"Quick and easy to use, but with a fatal flaw"
Pros: With very little working HTML knowledge, I quickly inserted a Username and Password box into my login page. When I typed the correct usernames and passwords, I was redirected to unique pages - as advertised.
Cons: The individuals' pages aren't really password-protected by the software so much as password directed. I went to another computer and typed in the URL of a "password-protected" page - and I got in! It's obviously a common issue for users, because there's a FAQ in customer support about this. In order to block such unauthorized access, there's a workaround that requires inserting code into each unique user's page. What's the point of buying the software package if I have to insert code into each one of several hundred users' individual users' pages?
