CoffeeCup GIF Animator allows you to create or edit animated GIFs for your Web pages easily. Just open the software, and it guides you with a few simple steps. The program can convert JPEG and BMP graphics to GIFs automatically, as well as import AVI files. A floating preview window lets you see your animations and edit at the same time. You can export your animations to Flash, and the HTML code is generated automatically for easy insertion into any Web page. Editing your existing animated GIFs is simple, too--just open them and go to work with the program's user-friendly interface. You can use transparent backgrounds, choose the delay time for each frame, and change the order in which frames appear.

CoffeeCup GIF Animator aims to bring GIF and Flash animation to the masses with simple editing tools, a step-by-step wizard, and a detailed help file. The program's lack of high-end tools makes it a bad fit for professional designers, but novices will appreciate the ease of performing simple edits to animations. Though some basic features are easily accessible via buttons on the main window, most are only available through menus. We weren't happy about the tenacious nag screens, which distracted us at download, start-up, and shutdown. CoffeeCup GIF Animator is a fine solution for novices who need an easy way to create and edit animations, but professionals will need to look elsewhere.

"COFFEE CUP GIF GIVES YOUR EMAIL OUT TO SPAMMERS!!"

Pros: the software is actually fairly decent. it does a good job of making animated gifs. but...

Cons: i bought their software a year ago, and i gave them a unique email address: coffeecupgif@my-domain.com. and now i'm constantly getting spoofed "ebay" emails by spammers, trying to get my credit card information.

i'm sure there are other products which are equally good, which DON'T compromise the privacy of their customers.

"Good product but useless for me."

Pros: Easy to use

Cons: Very annoying logo (their logo) every where in the animation. The images created is pratiically useless, because their logo in it covering the banner you created.

"CoffeeCup spits on the face of honesty"

Pros: nothing

Cons: You must purchase the program before using it. There is no 30-trial folks, none at all. I wish I wouldve known that before installing this crapware on my computer. Why do these evil companies always mislead us and take advantage of us? All we want to do is be free and spend our hard earned cash. Shame on you CoffeeCup!

"Bad product"

Cons: This program ruined my images. It did nothing to help shrink the file size down and placed their logo in the image. Not only that, but it completely messed up the pallette of the original files in the animation. Totally useless. Don't waste your time.

"VERY BAD RESULTS NO MATTER WHAT I DO"

Pros: Everything works as expected until the end result where you have a bad surprise

Cons: The final result you get in the trial version is horrible because after Saving, the pictures are corrupted by color problems in the software and U don't realize about that 'til the end.
No matter what you do to fix it it becomes impossible.
The Help Files refers to that problem as one that can be solve with controls the Trial version does not have...
