From Microsoft: Microsoft's Close Combat is a World War II strategy game that focuses on the human element of war amid real-time action and historically accurate situations. World War II is well under way and your mission is to command troops in the battles of the Normandy Campaign. You are placed in command of men who act and fight like real soldiers. These soldiers are affected both physically and mentally by the battle situations they face. They may fight heroically, cower, break, rally, obey, or sometimes disobey, depending on the orders you issue. Cry havoc and let slip the dogs of war.
