The Cheetah CD Burner is an easy to use program for burning CD-R and CD-RW discs. It can also Burn Bootable CD's, Bin/Cue files, ISO files, and Audio CD's from MP3, WMA, and WAV files. Supports DAO and TAO burning modes for all disc types.

Version 4.2 adds MP2 and AVI decoding for Audio CDs.

• "Fast and affordable"

Despite a somewhat counterintuitive design, this program makes a capable CD burner. When we first launched Cheetah CD Burner, we were surprised to find the pane for exploring our PC on the right and the contents of the new CD on the left. We're used to seeing such programs arranged the other way around.

The application can burn data and audio CDs at speeds of up to 40x, and we appreciate having the option to add files to a project by simply right-clicking them. You also can make a boot disc or copy an entire CD. Clicking the Settings tab lets you finalize your disc and use buffer control. The CD ripper encodes files in both MP3 and WAV formats and can access an online database for track and album information. The program also has tools for extracting audio from AVI video clips and converting audio files among such popular formats as MP3, WMA, and OGG.

The Cheetah Web site currently has a deal offering the app for free, if you post a link back to their Web site. All things considered, we think Cheetah CD Burner makes a fine choice.

  Pros: I love to enjoy music from home without lines at the store here at this site I can browse through all the music I can withstand and the quality that I get is incredible I have never been so satisfied

  Pros: IN NERO ULTRA-LITE EDITION ITS QUICK BUT I CAUSES ERRORS ON THE CD AND DOESN'T TELL YOU, IN CHEETA IT BURNS QUICK AND NO ERRORS IT'S A MUST HAVE!!!! DOWNLOAD IT AND YOU WILL RELIZE YOU DON'T NEED WMP OR NERO OR OTHER SIMILAR PROGRAMS...

  Cons: NOTHING I LOVE IT!!

  Version: Cheetah CD Burner 4.02

  "Cheetah software is the way to go!"

  Pros: This product is just as good as any of the burning software out there that cost hundreds of dollars, and the best thing is that is doesn't come with all that extra stuff you will never use. File size is also very small which is a huge plus for me!
