Cheetah CD Burner provides an interface for burning audio and data CDs. It also includes the ability to burn and make ISO files. Enhanced features include shortcuts to your favorite folders, as well as different file-view settings such as thumbnails for viewing photos. You can burn CD-R and CD-RW discs, burn audio CDs (WAV, MP3, MP2, AVI, OGG, and WMA), burn data CDs and ISO images, create ISO images, erase CD-RW discs, rip audio from music CDs, retrieve album information from audio CDs, copy data CDs, copy audio CDs, and automatically verify data.

Version 3.47 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.

• "Fast and affordable"

Despite a somewhat counterintuitive design, this program makes a capable CD burner. When we first launched Cheetah CD Burner, we were surprised to find the pane for exploring our PC on the right and the contents of the new CD on the left. We're used to seeing such programs arranged the other way around.

The application can burn data and audio CDs at speeds of up to 40x, and we appreciate having the option to add files to a project by simply right-clicking them. You also can make a boot disc or copy an entire CD. Clicking the Settings tab lets you finalize your disc and use buffer control. The CD ripper encodes files in both MP3 and WAV formats and can access an online database for track and album information. The program also has tools for extracting audio from AVI video clips and converting audio files among such popular formats as MP3, WMA, and OGG.

The Cheetah Web site currently has a deal offering the app for free, if you post a link back to their Web site. All things considered, we think Cheetah CD Burner makes a fine choice.

  Version: Cheetah CD Burner 3.47

  "This software beats all of the other CD burner softwares."

  Pros: The product was so useful to me. I have tried to use other software to burn my CDs but none of them were as good as Cheetah CD Burner 3.47. It helped me in so many ways. Other software don't allow to burn certain types of CDs but this one can burn anything. It was also a very quick and easy process. I don't have time to wait all day to burn just one CD. With Cheetah CD Burner 3.47 it takes no time at all.

  "Cheetah saved the day"

  Pros: After looking for CD burner software that works with an old NT machine, I found that Cheetah not only worked on the PC but was extremely easy to use.

  Version: Cheetah CD Burner 3.47

  "After testing other cd burners there's none that compares 2 Cheetah CD Burning."

  Pros: My friend downloaded Cheetah and I was thrilled when I found out that I could download it to. My reason, is because I tried to download other cd burning programs and they failed to work and error messages kept popping up or the program kept closin. But with Cheetah I don't have to worry about that.. It's not a gimmick.. It's real.. You get more than you derserve when you download Cheetah. It's fast & easy and can at times be worth the wait.

  Cons: There's not anything in which I do not like about Cheetah... I'm glad I found out about it. Even though the download is free it is truly worth more so take it in to consideration and stop wastin' time on those other useless burner programs.

  "Superfast"

  Pros: I have to admit that I didn't realize why this software was called "Cheetah". It is super fast burning any data, including ISO files. I normally use "Nero 7.0" for all my burning needs but "Cheetah CD Burner" is without a doubt the easiest and quickest burner software I have used. It's simplicity is what I like the most. It burned over 600MB of data in less than 2 minutes.
