The CNET Bandwidth Meter widget tests the speed of your Internet connection against top DSL, cable modem, and other broadband services. To check your bandwidth, simply activate the widget in your dock. Note: You must have the Yahoo widgets engine to run this widget. If you do not have it, you will be prompted to install it when you install the Bandwidth Meter.

Pros: Why does C|NET always tell me my speed is a MB lower than what other speed tests tell me?

"A good widget but it's a widget!"

Pros: Fast installed widget.

Cons: No options and more importantly doesn't tell you where it's pinging.

Pros: Dude it's just a widget. But it's a good widget.

Cons: Nothing, it's pretty benign like I said, it's just a widget.
