From CCleaner:CCleaner is a system optimization and privacy tool. It removes unused files from your system - allowing Windows to run faster and freeing up valuable hard disk space. It's fast (normally taking less that a second to run). It cleans: Internet Explorer (Temporary files, URL history, cookies, Autocomplete form history, index.dat); Firefox (Temporary files, URL history, cookies, download history); Windows (Recycle Bin, Recent Documents, Temporary files and Log files); Registry cleaner (Advanced features to remove unused and old entries, including File Extensions, ActiveX Controls, ClassIDs, ProgIDs, Uninstallers, Shared DLLs, Fonts, Help Files, Application Paths, Icons, Invalid Shortcuts. So comes with a comprehensive backup feature.) Third-party applications (Removes temp files and recent file lists (MRUs) from many apps including Opera, Media Player, eMule, Kazaa, Google Toolbar, Netscape, MS Office, Nero, Adobe Acrobat, WinRAR, WinAce, WinZip).

- "Quick, easy, free"
Although it lacks a few of the bells and whistles found in other PC-cleaning applications, this free program offers more than enough features to make it a worthy download. CCleaner's interface is logically designed and makes it easy to wipe away your tracks from Internet Explorer and Mozilla, various Windows system areas, and some third-party applications.
CCleaner doesn't support a large number of extraneous programs as some competitors do, but it can erase traces from such popular programs as Spybot - Search & Destroy and WinZip. Also missing is a secure file shredder, but it makes up for the omission by supplying a Registry-cleaning utility, which quickly scans for invalid entries before removing them. CCleaner can even back up your Registry before removal, in case it accidentally removes a crucial component, and the download includes a feature for uninstalling any program on your machine.
Since this free application handles the majority of PC-cleaning chores and offers a nice extra, we have no problem recommending CCleaner to all users, except those who need to get rid of supersensitive data.

"If you don't have CCleaner...you are missing out!"
Pros: CCleaner is without a doubt, the best free registry cleaner on the net. You click "Run Cleaner", and it removes all your temporary files, invalid registry entries, and other worthless junk in less than a minute. When you click on "Issues" it removes all remnants of uninstalled programs. It also features a good startup manager and program uninstaller...all for free! CCleaner is an awesome free product and everyone should download it, 5 stars and two thumbs up!

Pros: CCleaner is a great product.It found lots of unused files and fixed them.It also made my computer faster.It also recovers disk space.This product is actually better than some paid registry cleaners.

Pros: fast scanning speed, one click process to fix dozens of the registry/system problems, makes your pc run faster and safer. or clean all the clutter and junk build up in your pc, including unused files, cookies, browsing history/URL and much more. it can even clean other popular program like firefox,ad-aware,spybot, etc, to free up disk space. did you know it even throw in a very handy pack of neat extras including back-up feature(in case of a wrong operation), uninstall program, start-up program viewer(see which app your computer loads in the start-up process). you gotta get this to optimize your pc now!

Pros: CCLEANER is a great program because it is very quick , very small , very simple and improves your computer very much. For a program that only takes up a few mbs it has many features. The best i like is the cleaner and the registry scanner. for those of you that are worried that ccleaner might damage your registry it really doesn't because it doesn't scan deep in the registry's core. Its indeed a very safe program to use. i have used it for 4 years now and have installed it on every pc i see. A program that i highly recommend for any user.

Pros: a great free cleaner that just keeps getting better and better.
Cons: none cause if u dont want the yahoo bar, then KEEP THAT BOX UNCHECKED. products shouldnt get low ratings solely cause of someone's own stupidity. hey lets all sue the government for allowing us to think for ourselves, how dare we think for ourselves =P
