From Castillo Bueno Systems: CCUnits is a program for Windows 95, 98, Me, 2000, and NT for converting units of measurement common in engineering and science. Also, several physical constants can be consulted. It includes 56 magnitudes, and in each one, the most frequently used units have been chosen. Unlike other unit-conversion programs, CCUnits doesn't overwhelm the user with hundreds of units and magnitudes, it only provides the most frequently used and important ones. The use of the program is easy and intuitive. With a few clicks, the user can perform unit conversions, and access a list of physical constants. Overall, this strikes us as a quality tool for converting both simple and more specialized units of measurement. CCUnits, which includes 56 magnitudes, offers an easy-to-understand, if not particularly beautiful, interface. To perform a conversion, select the unit of measurement, then enter a number in the corresponding field. Results can be displayed in normal and scientific formats. Units of measurement include fractions, atomic weights, electricity, area, temperature, and kitchen fluid volume, as well as computer values such as radix and storage. You can customize the interface by choosing to only display certain units of measurement you regularly use, and you can create your own custom calculations. All things considered, CCUnits is a solid resource for both scientific and nonscientific types, and even novice users will be able to quickly get up to speed.
