From Burn4Free:Burn4Free CD and DVD is a burning solution that's compatible with more than 3,000 DVD and CD burners. Burn data and audio from different file types (WAV, WMA, MP3, OGG, FLAC, WavPack, and CDA). Burn and save ISO files, open and save your project to disk, verify content, print compilations, copy DVDs, and import your audio compilation from M3U and ASX playlists. The drives supported include dual-layer DVD, CD-R, CD-RW, DVD-R, DVD+R, DVD-RW, DVD+RW, and DVD-RAM (SCSI, IDE, EIDE, and USB 1.0 and 2.0). Version 3.3 adds some improvements and optimizations.
Note: This download installs additional Internet Explorer toolbar that can be uninstalled separately at any time from within the browser.

"badly explained and freezes up a lot from new"
Pros: free
Cons: got a 702 mb video to burn to a 700mb cdr mt ashampoo software will burn this anmount to a cdr yet this doesnt in its data/mp3 cd column the 785mb area flashes red yet theres no explination of what this means if u hover over it or click it, help topics button doesnt work and the programs stuck and u have to crash it..it needs ahelp documnet and some work to fix it and explain what to do to use it..is it ok to have adverts in its window while u burn or will these interupt it?

"Great... and getting greater"
Pros: Still seems to be the only free cd/dvd burning app that actually works with Vista. I've tried the others on multiple Vista systems - BurnOn, InfraRecorder, PureDVD, ImgBurn - and while the first three have many issues with Vista or do not work at all, ImgBurn does not offer a multi-session (TAO) option. Burn4free runs without errors in my testing, offers multi-session for data, has a full range of options, and is highly customizable. If you read the help file you can easily remove the toolbar with no effect on functionality. Please donate whatever you can to this developer to continue development of this software.
Cons: After very easily removing the IE toolbar, no cons.

Pros: I was slightly skeptical about downloading this software after reading numerous negative reviews, but I felt that the positives outweighed, and I'm quite glad I got the software. It is quick and painless to use. My advice is that if you think this software is too complicated, take a computer class grandma!
Cons: The only thing that bugged me was that this installed a search bar on my internet browser. I was warned about it during the installation but with no way to say "no" to it. However, after it was all installed, it was simple to go to add/remove programs and remove the just the search bar.
