This budget program helps you set up and live by your budget. You may write checks, make deposits, enter payments, and balance your checkbook. See at a glance how much money you have in your budget, savings, or investment accounts. Transfer money between accounts using simple drag-and-drop. Powerful search capabilities allow you to find transactions easily. Set reminders or to-do's for repetitive actions. The program contains extensive documentation under the Help menu.

Version 5.2 adds split ATM transaction, date range to history window and transaction report, interest and inflation graph lines; simplifies event creation in Planner.

  Version: Budget 5.2

  "I highly recommend this great software!"

  Pros: This product does exactly what they say it does! I have been using it for a little over a month, and am very satisfied. We make plenty of money but were overdrawing our account every month and couldn't figure out where our money was going- until we started using Budget. Now we know exactly how much we have to SPEND without leaving ourselves short for future expenses. It's almost payday again and we still have money in our account to add to our savings. YIPPEE!

  I did have a problem installing the full version, but after one evening e-mail to Snowmint, I had a reply from one of the developers before I woke up the next morning that solved my problem immediately. Thank-you Snowmint!

  If your still sitting on the fence with this program, download the demo and give it a try.

  Cons: If there is a con, it has to be the setup time. We have several accounts and lots of monthly as well as annual bills, and because we wanted an accurate picture of were our money is going I had to put all the catagories in and try to figure out what the budget should be for each. It was worth the time (about 6 hours) because it has already saved us about $400.
