From MiShell Software Systems:Budget Calendar is a budget and payment planning application. All transactions are shown on a calendar (compare to the complicated ledger system used by some budget applications). Each payment can have a unique icon. Move a transaction to a different day to fit your needs. See where you are going to spend money in the future. Adjust the budget balance to match your actual balance.

Version: Budget Calendar 1.0i
"Innovative, unique, best budgeting software out there!"
Pros: I shopped around a lot after getting fed up with Quicken and nothing fit my needs quite so well as Budget Calendar. The calendar interface of Budget Calendar is unique among similar applications, as far as I could find. Quicken has a calendar interface within it, but not as useful as Budget Calendar. Using the calendar interface, it's a lot easier to see how different transactions in the future affect my plans and I've had better successes with managing my money as a result. I rely pretty heavily on the forecast graph at the top. I use the "Minimum Balance" forecast, which tells me the lowest point my budget reaches each month in the future. I like the brief/full summary of the current month a lot, it helps me get a good idea of the totals being spent on different things each month. Scheduling a series of transactions within a budget is very easy and powerful. Best of all, Budget Calendar isn't bloated with tons of useless features like the bigger competitors. It does it's job, it does it well, and it does it cleanly. I highly recommend Budget Calendar to anyone, especially if you want a clearer view of your future.

Version: Budget Calendar 1.0i
Pros: Read the help file first! It is short and to the point.--- I wanted a program that took my budget beyond the month format. I can track my bills weekly, daily, 28 days, 30 days, monthly, reoccurring.--- Do you live paycheck to paycheck? If so you probably know that you get an EXTRA check every 6 months. Did you know that if you budget your bills the way they are due (many of your bills rotate every 28, 29 or 30 days), you can take advantage of those Extra checks now. You will loose a good portion of the big pay off, but you may find that you have more breathing room each month. Pop your bills in this program you will see what I mean. --- I am no stranger to Excel and I was going to make a similar program, I won't waist my time, not for the $14.95 fee. --- I have had the top budget programs for years...sorry q@$% I won't be back.
Cons: If you want to recorde register transactions this will not do that job. Use Excel if you need to have that feature.

"A fantastic way to plan your budget for the year, or longer."
Pros: Once you've input your spending, bills and income information, this software shows you in calendar format where your balance will be on any given day. It's easy to use, easy to understand, and doesn't have bells and whistles you don't need making it overly complex. I use it to see how aggressively I can pay down debts and maintain the balance I want to maintain. In addition to bills, I budget subtractions for spending money, groceries, household expenses, and savings set aside for big expenditures. You can uniformly change a payment if it goes up or down, or change just one, like the electric or gas bill, to note the actual payment when it's different from your projected estimate. Other cool features include the Full Summary, where you can see how much you've spent in any category at the end of whatever month in the future you choose, and the forecast chart that shows different information (several options) about your budget through the end of the year. It made my budget planning so easy.
Cons: If you get paid on the 1st and 15th of the month, you have to record that income as once-monthly income on the 1st and again as once-monthly income on the 15th. With the Pay Every: _____ Day(s) / Week(s) / Month(s) / Year(s) format, there's no better way to do it. Typing in .5 months doesn't work. Not a big problem, though. Also, at first I was surprised that it only figured amounts in whole dollars, no cents, but then I appreciated the simplicity of using that format, so again, not really a problem.
