This application effectively monitors and prevents unauthorized changes to your Internet browser's home-page settings, but its concern is limited to Internet Explorer. Browser Hijack Retaliator's interface appears somewhat crowded, but thankfully it displays brief explanations of each function just below the main window. The program loads at start-up and immediately docks in the system tray. It provides real-time protection and notifies users whenever new items are added or settings have been modified to your favorites list and search tool. It instantly cleared typed URLs, cookies, and temporary files. It works well as a Browser Helper Object (BHO) manager and can even restore your browser's default settings. Impressively, it lets you tap into and modify search-page settings that are commonly off-limits. We only wish it had support for additional browsers. IE users concerned about malicious programs changing your home page and other system settings will find this set-it-and-forget-it freeware is well worth a try.

  Cons: Developers page redirects, to a domain, which is up for sale.

  can't get rid of it defies removal

  Pros: intervenes in shut down opeations

  Cons: interrupts shutdowns unable to look at how, why of IF it works

  Does Not Work!

  Pros: None that apply to my problem.

  Cons: Tells me that my home page has been changed, then asks me if I accept the chan ge. I say "no" and it pops up again. And again. And again. And again...

  Pros: Its Free,

  Its Colour full.

  Real time protection for the Internet explorer its cool

  Cons: Windows are not well organized.

  more funtionalities needed.
