This browser companion makes it easier to search through a visual representation of your Web history, but it might not be ready for prime time just yet. Once your history is successfully archived (it can take a long time if you have a large history) a smooth animated interface lets you browse through visited sites by mousing over thumbnails. Clicking on a site brings up a menu which allows you to view the site, send the site as a PDF in e-mail, or save the site to your hard drive. We really like the search functionality letting you sift through your entire history by entering a keyword. We would have liked a faster engine for archiving our history--a large Web history can take several hours to get up on screen. Overall, we think BrowseBack is a great program for finding information on otherwise lost (to you) or old sites, but it may be worth it to wait for the next version if you don't have a fast Mac.
