From UnitSoft:Birthdays and Anniversaries Reminder (BAR) is a simple program that reminds you of the birthdays of your friends & relatives (or even yours). All you have to do is keep on adding the dates you know, set BAR to run at startup, and rest assured that you will be notified of them as they approach. BAR has a very easy-to-use interface and has several options like sorting, formatting dates according to your locale and numbers of days in advance should BAR check for approaching birthdays. Use it for some time, and you'll start liking (and needing) it more.

"Like it, with some reservations"
Pros: It is a great program, recommended for people who forget easily
Cons: It just seems a bit TOO simple, and that you would soon get annoyed with it, esp. when it starts up on log on, and uses up precious cpu and ram.

Pros: Easy to install, easy to load. Takes name, full date, email and comment ie. birthday, anniversary, appointment etc. Reminder can be set to any number of days before the event. Couldn't be simpler.
