From 4th Dimension:Birthday Reminder 4.0 Is A Software that reminds you about the upcoming birthdays and anniversaries, and will display messages on the respective days about the birthdays or the anniversaries of all the people that you have entered in its database. You can also take backups of the Birthdays / Anniversaries That you have stored in the database, and restore it anytime you want. All you Have To do is, that you have to is, Enter the name of the Person, the date, and the type (Whether Birthday / Anniversary) And then just click on create reminder. Birthday Reminder will automatically open on that day, and display a message saying that 'Today Is (Someone's) Birthday' Or 'Today Is (Someone's) Anniversary'.

Summary: It's nice that it's free, and simple to use, but it only pops up when you boot your machine - so if you leave your machine on most of the time, you'll be SOL. Also, it will only remind you on the day of the event - not enough warning!
