"go Zipeg instead"

Pros: MacRar is very old... go Zipeg instead http : // www . zipeg . com

Cons: the rar library evolved. Zipeg supports the latest with miltipart archives and password protected encryption. MacRar does not support all of that.

"Stupid"

Pros: None

Cons: Downloaded product to open a .rar file, but it was in a file format that can't be opened without downloading another file! STUPID!

"doesn't work"

Pros: nothing except that it's a mac program

Cons: I have never gotten this program to work on .rar files, not once. The help could use some screenshots to walk you through it better. I always have to move the .rar files to a windows machine and un-rar them there.
