This phone-to-PC remote access software is a diamond in the rough. Viewing files from any smartphone is flawless (assuming you have a document viewer), but the application is littered with superfluous layers to get to the goods; a beta music service that's been all but abandoned; and a search feature that kicks you out of your account if you don't have Google Desktop installed. For a subscription fee, it will also store a hefty quantity of multimedia files even when your computer is logged off or shut off.

Despite the imperfections, Avvenu Access 'n Share delivers your documents and pictures, and provides a way to update files, too. We're looking forward to seeing Nokia's efforts to streamline a product that works fine today, but can be terrific tomorrow.

  Avvenu Access n Share

  Really Cool Better than Others

  Pros: So easy to set up, and then you can see many areas of your PC from other PCs. Once you know where to put files you may want to access from other PCs, it's easy to go in, anywhere, and get them! There are other cool features to take advantage of, as well, including file sharing!

  Cons: Some folders not available from other PCs, but this is minor compared to what you get overall.
