Pros: Probably some good utilities and upgrades included.
Cons: Author should break this monster down into at least 4 or 5 components and allow users to pick and choose their downloads based on desire for features and upgrades. I use Win98 but have no desire for some features included in this program.

You are certainly correct that the file size is large, however you need to take into account it is 8 years since the operating system was released and that covers quite a large period of software development. Auto-patcher contains all the updates you need to make full use of your computer as of February 2007, nothing more. I have already made a LITE version that leaves out 70 MB of not-so-important updates, but even that is still 170 MB. Please consider that the corresponding one for Windows XP is over 300 MB. This product is in good company, and it is the size it is for good reasons not because it's full of useless junk.
