Despite a few sporadic stability problems, this comprehensive and stylish suite of audio tools performs most of its many functions well. AudioStudio bundles a jukebox, a CD burner, a converter, a recorder, and a ripper into a very attractive interface. Besides basic functions and CDDB support, we were pleased with the player's extra features, including a 12-band equalizer, a music library, and even visualizations that move in time with the music. The audio convertor is equally competent, though it lacks support for the ubiquitous RM format and goes about its business somewhat slowly. The MP3 encoder was more of a mixed bag, as it worked just fine in some tests and crashed in others. Burning a CD was a painless affair that went off without a hitch. As for the audio recorder, we appreciated the ability to fine-tune the incoming signal strength and set the bit rate and format type for our new file. Since AudioStudio basically gives you five apps in one package, we think most users will be pleased, even if they encounter the occasional crash.

"Easy to use."

Pros: It is easy to use and has many options.

Cons: It slows down my computer, but it could just be my computer's ability.

"One of the better ones"

Summary: Good program. Doesn't crash my system or use too much memory. The audio quality is decent - no obvious scratching noises or anything like that on my audio CD's.
