"New software update is corrupted PLEASE READ. Many angry customers."
Pros: DO NOT BUY THE CURRENT VERSION!!! The original owner of Auction Sentry sold to "AUCTIVA", a third party ebay software company. New software won't work. Read Below...
Cons: Everyone who has a current PAID version of Auction Sentry (Deluxe) and has downloaded the latest update 27 February 2008, has found their AuctionSentry software to be corrupt and will not load. Go to their website and read their own forums.
Software Error Code:
"Error attemption to validate registration. Please try again or contact support."
We have attempted to contact AuctionSentry and Auctiva to quickly resolve this problem. NO RESPONSE. AuctionSentry's own public forum has everyone complaining about their program not working. It appears to be a breach of contract for terminated services that have been paid. This use to be the BEST auction snipe program. After the original owner/programmer Daniel Hite sold out a couple months ago, the new owners have flopped and harmed many ebay buyers.
AuctionSentry has changed their terms of service. Some have found the changes might require a fee for every auction you bid on...

"Gone all to hell, Now trashed by new owners"
Pros: Can't find anything good at all.
Cons: When Dan Hite had it, it was the best sniping program on the market. Dan sold out and the new owners have trashed it. They don't honor the original terms we purchased and want old users to buy the program again with an annual renewal.
I echo all the other people?s negative remarks. I too need to find another program but stay away from this ?new auction sentry? Software.

"Agreed why try to fix what ain't broke"
Cons: I agree with the previous reviewer. I got a warning to upgrade to the newer version 3.0.2 this I did. Although I had 26 days yet to run on my old subscription it robbed me of these and told me I needed to pay for a new one. I renewed through paypal and still have not been credited with my new sub. Looking at the community boards on the Auction Sentry site I may be out of luck in the near future. Also reading the terms and Cond. the new owners may even charge on items bid on. Dan Hite was an excellent overseer but the new owners who seem to have bought him out seem totally not to care less for the customer. By the way I have given one star as it won't allow me to give none

"New version Absolute rubbish."
Cons: Now taken over by another company not belonging to Dan Hite. Abolute rubbish demands you now upgrade and when you do you lose days already subscribed for. Have used for a couple of years but with the new operators avoid like the plague

"GARBAGE, TRASH, just plain doggy doo? I didn't want to give it any stars..."
Pros: I don't like anything about the company (Rip oFf Artist) NO Support, (2 business days) that's just BS.... The upgrade is worthless, same old program with a whole lot of problems, no new features or benefits, unless you count wasting time and money...
Cons: I couldn't say enough bad things about this trash, just stay clear of it, or just burn your money and avoid the pain...
