MailWasher is a program to help you get rid of spam and viruses in your e-mail. MailWasher allows you to preview all aspects of your e-mail on the server before you download it to your computer, thus protecting you from spam, viruses, phishing attacks, and other nuisances. You can then delete unwanted e-mail before it gets to you. Other features help identify and protect you against viruses and worms. Also included are comprehensive antispam tools, recycle bin and many other features. Free version supports single e-mail account, and has no auto delete feature and no user support.

Version 6.1.1.18 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.

  Cons: How many people have only one email account? If you do, then this may be okay, but if you have more than one account it's useless.

  Pros: still looking

  Cons: requires log in and password every time mail is checked (even though remember password is checked). I've uninstalled it and am going to reload previous version.

  Pros: Although there are limitations in the free version, it does a good job and gives a good feel of what the pay version is capable of doing. I used it for a couple weeks and bought the full version several years ago. I wouldn't be without it!

  Tried to download 6 times, but could not find it anywhere even though "they" thanked me for downloading

  Cons: Never got a chance to find out. Tried 6 times to download it, but could find it to install! Where does it go?
