Publisher's description of Applications Priority Master
Run programs with your desirable pre-defined priority. Instead of using Windows Task Manager to change the running processes priority (something which is not convenient), Applications Priority Master gives you the ability to create programs' shortcuts, specifying the priority you want them to start with. So, make a list of programs and run them from Applications Priority Master, with a pre-defined priority according to your needs.
Editor's review of Applications Priority Master
4.0 stars
This freeware allows you to run executables and customize their CPU priority, but that's the extent of its functionality. Applications Priority Master's compact, tabbed interface is sparse but intuitive. The program lets you add executables to its list, and select CPU priority settings from low to real-time. You can launch an application directly from the program, and it automatically runs in your predefined priority settings. In our tests, Application Priority Master worked accurately, as promised. Its scope is somewhat limited, but this freebie can help any user who wants to control CPU-intensive programs.
