"Gotta go pro"

Pros: It downloads videos very fast and it uses the tabbing feature

Cons: you cant convert videos in this version and it had a confusing preset folder where videos are downloaded to

Version: Apowersoft YouTube Downloader Free 2.2

"Nice tool, but not totally free"

Pros: It has a smooth, nice look, easy install, and downloads videos flawlessly from lots of sites. I love the setup and ease of use.

Cons: Not everything listed comes with this free version. You'll have to upgrade to the Pro version to convert the videos, which is $30. It's still worth it for the downloader alone though.

- Download videos from YouTube, Google Video, MySpace TV and many others.
- Simultaneous Download Support, So you can download several video files from YouTube or Google Video during one session.
- Up to 4x faster conversion speed.
- support converting videos to specific video formats like AVI, MPEG4, DivX, XviD, iPod Video, iPhone format, MPEG, WMV, RM, MOV, Sony PSP, Zune Video, 3GP, 3G2, SWF, M4A, MP3, MP4, WAV, OGG, AAC and AC3. etc.
- Crop Video:Let you crop your movie video to remove black video sides.
- Trim Movie:Allow you to trim your video files to capture your favorite clips.
- Update your program with automatically upgrade system.
Although YouTube changes their video files hosting routine and YouTube download programs stop working, we work hard and usually fix such problems quickly and update your program automatically.
