Animated Screen creates professional screensavers and greetings. You can create your screensavers from images, text, shapes, or 3D objects, and manage their behavior, size, and appearance, as well as mirror, rotate, and adjust their colors. The program supports all major image and sound formats. It creates standalone screensavers as well as self-installing executables with links to your Web site and purchase reminders. If you sell your screensavers, you can generate registration keys for your customers with the program.

This version has new image filter tolls to triangle sprites.

This program lets you create simple animations based on sprites. Although Animated Screen doesn't provide image-editing tools, it accepts BMP and JPEG pictures, GIF animations, and AVI videos as source files. You can save your animations as AVI videos, GIF files, Windows screensavers, executable greeting cards, and installation packages. The program also provides extensive functionality for shareware authors, such as the ability to add trial limitations and reminder screens. As for creative capabilities, Animated Screen lets you apply a variety of transition effects, program simple motions, add 2D and 3D text, and play background music. This inexpensive alternative to full-blown animation packages may interest casual users in designing greeting cards and screensavers, as well as interest professionals in distributing trailers and screensavers.

  "It's ok."

  Pros: Has a lot of nice effects. Neat program. Easy to use.

  Cons: The product does not support "Png" file formats for sprites or backgrounds. No upgrade to this product in over 3 years.

  Cons: For a average user just wanting a different look this program is complicated to navigate and figure out what you are doing
